Ale to the Festival
5th - 8th March 2014
Friends, Romans, Countrymen...
... the greatest Real Ale Festival in the North of England opens on the 5th March 2014.
From Wed 5th March to Sat 8th March the Rotherham Real Ale & Music Festival will offer over 200 real ales, all served by traditional handpump, 45 different ciders and 38 International bottled beers, as well as a selection of wines.
In the Iceni, Brigantes and Coritani bars, the Festival will feature real ales from areas of the UK known to have a strong connection to the ancient Roman Empire.
Delicious food will be provided by Magna from serveries in The South Yorkshire Hall and North and East Yorkshire ("Red Hall") area of the festival. Food prices this year start at £2.50, with meals available for approximately £5.00. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will also be served.
Not just beer
Music is an important part of the Rotherham Real Ale Festival, and we have a great line-up to entertain you this year. Rock, jazz, folk, big band sound - whatever your musical taste, you won't be disappointed. Details here.
Last year's Festival raised £40,000 for local good causes and with your help we may be able to beat that this year. Our nominated charities are the Rotherham Hospice, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and the Magna Educational Trust.
